Three months into 2020 and it is proving to be a banner year for street food, with new events popping up every month and old favourites being taken to new heights. March is no different—we’ve got the final Te Atatu Night Market of the season, the highly anticipated Vegan Food Fest and a brand new block party in Parnell.
Food Truck Fridays
Takutai Square, weekly on Friday 11.30am - 2.30pm
CBD foodies, rejoice! Food Truck Friday is rolling on for another month. Get out of your stuffy offices and lecture halls and head on down to Britomart for some sweet sweet sunshine and street food. Munch on tasty treats while you chill on beanbags and take in DJ Alice Rose’s tunes. This month we’ve got some epic vendors lined up for you—think Jo-Bros Burgers, Grownup Donuts, Bun Hun, Temaki Truck and so much more.

Street Food at Point Chevalier
Point Chevalier Community Centre, Friday 6th March, 4.30 - 8.30pm
Join us at the Point Chevalier Community Centre on the 6th of March for a wonderful evening of food, family, live music and good vibes. Keep the kids happy with complementary face painting and fill those hungry bellies with delightful delicacies from our incredible food trucks. This month’s line up consists of Carmel - Israeli Street Food, Sweet As Bowl’s plant based goodness, Grownup Donuts’ indulgent delights and Cream’s incredible real fruit ice cream.

Vegan Food Festival 2020
Corban Estate Arts Centre, Sunday 8th March, 10am - 4pm
That’s right—one of Auckland’s most anticipated street food events is back and better than ever. We could not be more excited to host this epic day of plant based food, drinks, beauty products, homewares and so much more. Come along to the stunning Corban Estate for a day full of vegan-friendly fun that will tickle your tastebuds—think vendors like Wise Boys Burgers, Hapunan, Double Dutch Fries,The Rolling Pin and Kookie Haus. As well as the very best of Auckland’s street food, this year’s Vegan Food Festival will feature a vibrant marketplace with locally made crafts, plant-based beauty products and the like from brands such as Plant Base, Ethically So., Honest Goods and Chic by Chica.
It’s set to be an awesome day and we can’t wait!
Milford Night Market
Milford Baptist Church Carpark, 3 Dodson Avenue, Thursday 19th March, 4.30 - 8.30pm
North Shore foodies, you sure are hungry for some street food! The positive response to our last Milford Night Market has convinced us to do it again and we reckon this time will be even better. On this menu this month Akemi's Gyoza, Hapunan, Empanadas"Sabores", Crepes Creations & more!
Come along for an evening of sensational street eats, live music and local craft shopping.

Te Atatu Night Market
Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre, Friday 20th March, 5 - 9pm
Don’t miss out on the last Te Atatu Night Market of the season in collaboration with Music in the Parks! Auckland’s biggest collection of quality street food is here for one last hurrah before the winter hiatus plus epic line up of great music including Otium and Leighton Fairlie
With an expansive line up including homewares, crafts, artisan products and—of course—food, you’re sure to find something to tickle your fancy. Live music and an awesome community atmosphere will set the tone as you agonise over what you’ll have for dinner. Our suggestion? Get it all! Join us at Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre and help us make the last market of the season an epic one.

Faraday Street Festival
Faraday Street Parnell, Friday 27th March, 5 - 9pm
To introduce you to the newly minted ‘Warehouse District’ of Parnell, for one night and one night only we are blocking the roads and taking the party to the streets! Parnell is a pretty unique and amazing suburb, where old and new collide in historic buildings and cutting edge retailers. Switch off Netflix, abandon the couch and get yourself down to the Faraday Precinct for an evening of gourmet food trucks such as The Hungry Swine, Brooklyn Dogs and Lalele Organic Gelato, live music and late night shopping.
Living it up is thirsty work, but The Paddington will have you well looked after with an outdoor pop up so you can enjoy a nice cold bevvy al fresco. This is an all new, one off event so don’t miss out!
